Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos Tribute Video

Well, the Into The Mantle youtube presence continues to forge ahead at full steam. The latest of my contributions is a creative way of paying tribute to one of my favorite PC platform games: Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. I spliced together some of the concept art and a cinematic from the Blizzard site, as well as some footage from a gamespot video review by Greg Kasavin. You can watch the video review here. I devised a nice piece of very Black Sabbath sounding music (with some King Crimson-style improvisation [circa Elephant Talk]) which was even more Sabbath sounding with the gracious aide of Bloomington drummer Jeff Edwards. Jeff expertly handled the kinds of drum fills I was looking for to pace the video. I was also attempting to capture some of the ways the concept art was translated into the game.
